This is a pretty basic sample of how the letter for the grant should be written to the Board of Trustees.  The form can be modified for Outdoor Nationals.

To the DFW Board of Trustees:

My name is ______________ and I am ____ years old.  I have been skating on the DFW Speed Team for ____ years.  Tell a little bit about yourself, Hobbies, etc…

Give accomplishments about yourself or your skater during this 2008 - 2009 skating season, including the 2008 – 2009 South Central Regional Championships.  Write about the goals that you are setting for yourself for the upcoming skating season.

Talk about going to the 2009 Indoor National Championships in Lincoln, NE. What goals are you setting for yourself during nationals.
